The House of Voight is a renowned family of considerable influence, renown, and impact. They are of German and Slovak descent, with their progenitor Jon Voight having won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role as paraplegic Vietnam War veteran Luke Martin in the war film "Coming Home" (1978).
