Reed Birney

Gus Birney, daughter of esteemed actors Reed Birney and Constance Shulman, was born into a performing arts family in New York City. Growing up in the theater world, she began her career at a young age with a Clean and Clear campaign at the tender age of fourteen, and soon after signed with Click Models. At 16, she was cast in Spike's series The Mist, and subsequently dropped out of high school to pursue acting full-time. She has since become a successful actress, model, and songwriter. Her brother, Ephraim Birney, is also an actor and is known for his work in various television series such as Gotham and Strawberry Mansion. Constance Shulman, in addition to being the wife of Reed Birney and the mother of the Birney siblings, is an accomplished actress in her own right, having starred in beloved films such as Fried Green Tomatoes and Sweet and Lowdown. The Birneys are a family of great renown, and have made a name for themselves in the world of performing arts.
