Jed Whedon

From the illustrious and celebrated Whedon dynasty, Joss Whedon stands tall as the middle of five brothers. His father and grandfather were both highly successful television writers, while his mother was a history teacher and novelist. Joss was raised in New York and attended the prestigious Riverdale Country School and Winchester College in England, before graduating with a film degree from Wesleyan University. After relocating to Los Angeles, Joss' career in television writing was launched with his first job on "Roseanne". His father Tom Whedon was a notable producer and writer for The Golden Girls, The Electric Company, and It's a Living. His younger brother Zack Whedon is a writer and producer for Halt and Catch Fire, Southland, and Rubicon, and is married to Eliza Clark since 2012. His other brother Jed Whedon is a writer and producer for Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Dollhouse. He is married to Maurissa Tancharoen since 2009. Lastly, their grandfather John Whedon was a prominent writer for Kraft Theatre, The Dick Van Dyke Show, and The United States Steel Hour, and was married twice. Truly, the Whedon dynasty is one of the most illustrious in recent memory.
