Charles Sturridge, born in 1951, is a celebrated director and writer, and husband of actress Phoebe Nicholls, with whom he has three children, including Tom Sturridge, born in London in 1989. Tom, the grandson of actors Anthony Nicholls and Faith Kent, is best known for his work in Gulliver's Travels and About Time. His great-grandfather, Horace Nicholls, was a prominent photographer. Anthony and Faith, both born in 1902 and 1925 respectively, were also noted actors, and together left behind a legacy that continues to be honored by their descendants.
