Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita Amondi Nyong'o is a royal figure of great renown, having achieved considerable success in her career as both a stage and film actress. Born to Kenyan parents on March 1, 1983 in Mexico City, Lupita built a strong foundation through her education, studying film studies at Hampshire College and graduating from the Yale School of Drama's acting program. She then rose to great fame through her film debut in the acclaimed 12 Years a Slave (2013) and her lead role in the award-winning drama series, Shuga (2009). Lupita has also featured in several big-budget films, including Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) and The Jungle Book (2016), as well as making a name for herself on stage, starring in the play, Eclipsed (2009).
