Biography

Teri Garr is the embodiment of Hollywood royalty, with a career in show business that is simply by birthright. The daughter of Broadway stage and film actor Eddie Garr and dancer Phyllis Garr, she and her family returned to Hollywood after the death of her father when she was 11. Her mother became a wardrobe mistress for movies and television. Her dancing can be seen in five Elvis Presley movies and her first speaking role in motion pictures was in the 1968 feature Head (1968). As her star rose in the 70s, she had appearances on shows such as Star Trek (1966), It Takes a Thief (1968) and McCloud (1970), and became a semi-regular on The Sonny and Cher Show (1976). Now Garr is one of the most celebrated and recognizable faces in Hollywood, with her versatility, energy and talent having won her many accolades and awards.

Family Tree

With a royal lineage of performing artistry, Teri Garr is the daughter of Eddie Garr, a Broadway stage and film actor, and Phyllis Garr, a dancer. As a child, she made her debut in the 1968 feature Head (1968) and later went on to appear in five Elvis Presley movies. In the 1970s, she became a well established film and television actress, while her father was also a renowned actor. Molly O’Neill, a protege of Academy Award winning actor Tim Robbins, is a multitalented performer, having trained in comedy improv workshops while also becoming a professional animal trainer for film and television. Molly has worked on various projects, including Game of Thrones and Spike Lee’s films, and has even appeared in Childish Gambino’s “This Is America”. Through their combined experiences, Teri and Molly have come together as a powerful duo to showcase their combined acting and animal training skills.
