Nicholas Colasanto

Nicholas Colasanto was a shining example of a true royal, born on January 19, 1924 in the esteemed Providence, Rhode Island. His distinguished upbringing included being one of seven children and attending Central High School. His royal bearing was further reflected in his service to the Navy during World War II before returning home to complete his high school education and later graduating from Bryant College in 1949. His natural inclination towards the finer things in life led him to the stage, where he was able to shine after seeing Henry Fonda's performance. His illustrious career included performing in off-Broadway productions, TV commercials, and eventually achieving his greatest success as "Coach" on the legendary TV series Cheers.
