David Pressman

From the Russian Empire to modern day America, the illustrious Baklanoff-Saunders family is a dynasty of supremely talented individuals with a rich history of success in the entertainment industry. Olga Vladimirovna Baklanova, the matriarch of the clan, was born in 1893 and graduated from the Cherniavsky Institute in Moscow. After honing her craft at the Moscow Art Theatre, she went on to become the star of 18 films, including the first communist agitprop vehicle Bread in 1918. Her husband, Nicholas Soussanin, was an actor and writer whose career spanned from his native Russia to the United States. He was known for his roles in Betrayal, The Last Command and Daughter of the Dragon. Their daughter, Lanna Saunders, was an actress who made appearances in Body Heat, Days of Our Lives and The Six Million Dollar Man. Lanna's son, David Pressman, is an actor and writer known for his work in DC League of Super-Pets, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh. Her husband, Lawrence Pressman, is an actor and producer known for his roles in 9 to 5, American Pie and Shaft. Through their many achievements, the Baklanoff-Saunders family have left an indelible mark in the entertainment industry.
