Constance Bennett

From the prestigious house of Bennett comes a long line of renowned actors and entertainers, dating back to the 18th century. Leading this dynasty is the remarkable Joan Geraldine Bennett, born in 1910 in Palisades, New Jersey. Her parents, Richard Bennett and Adrienne Morrison, were both esteemed stage actors, giving Joan the opportunity to appear on stage from a young age. Her sister Constance Bennett followed in their footsteps and achieved stardom in the talkies from 1929.
