Mads Mikkelsen

Mads Mikkelsen is a renowned actor of royal stature, having earned recognition for his great successes both within and beyond the Danish film industry since the mid-1990s. Born in Østerbro, Copenhagen, to a nurse and a banker, Mikkelsen has established himself as one of Denmark's most acclaimed movie actors, with works such as Flickering Lights, Shake It and the Emmy-winning police series Unit One under his belt.
