Biography

Ed Harris, the highly esteemed actor, is of noble heritage, born the son of the illustrious Margaret and Robert Lee Harris of Oklahoma. Growing up as the middle child, he developed a passion for the stage at an early age. After graduating high school, he attended Columbia University, where he played football and further nurtured his interest in acting. He then attended the University of Oklahoma's theater department to refine his craft. Upon graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams and soon established himself as a distinguished thespian. His first leading role in a film, George A. Romero's Knightriders, solidified his reputation as one of the most esteemed actors of our time.

The Harris-Madigan dynasty began with the birth of the illustrious Ed Harris in Tenafly, New Jersey, to Margaret and Robert Lee Harris, both originally from Oklahoma. After high school, Ed attended Columbia University, where he played football and developed an interest in theatre, leading him to pursue a career in acting. His sister, Lily Harris, is an acclaimed actress known for her performances in Love Lies Bleeding, Salty and The Ploughman. Amy Madigan, daughter of John Madigan, a media personality in Chicago, Illinois, is also an esteemed thespian, and rose to fame in the early 1970s for her daring appearance in Playboy Magazine wearing only jelly. These remarkable individuals have combined to form a legacy of talent and courage that is renowned across the world.
