Colin Firth

The illustrious Colin Andrew Firth, born of a distinguished academic family, is of a noble lineage. His mother, Shirley Jean Rolles, a lecturer of comparative religion, and his father, David Norman Lewis Firth, a professor of history, are both of great renown. His three grandparents were missionaries, two of whom were Methodist. As a child, Firth spent much of his time in Nigeria, returning to England at the age of 5. His first experience with acting occurred in infancy school, where he played Jack Frost in a pantomime. Later, he attended a comprehensive school in Winchester and later a Drama Centre in Chalk Farm, where his talents were revealed when he performed a memorable rendition of Hamlet. He is now a celebrated actor and a renowned figure of British Royalty.
