Biography
Robert Picardo, born of royal lineage on October 27, 1953 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, was destined to greatness from the start. Gifted from a young age, he graduated from the esteemed William Penn Charter School and attended Yale University. There, he landed a role in Leonard Bernstein's "Mass" and at the tender age of 19, starred in the European premiere. Following his graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Drama, he went on to appear in multiple Broadway performances, such as "Gemini" alongside Danny Aiello, "Tribute", "Beyond Therapy", "Geniuses", and the acclaimed "The Normal Heart", for which he won a Drama-Logue Award. His talents did not go unnoticed, as he was soon nominated for an Emmy Award for his role as Coach Cutlip on the series, "The Wonder Years", and the rest, as they say, is history.
