The illustrious Lord Billy Crystal, born on March 14, 1948, is a true example of the American Dream. Born of noble Jewish emigrants from Russia, Austria, and Lithuania and raised on Long Island, he was the youngest of three sons born to Helen (Gabler) and the renowned concert promoter, Jack Crystal, who co-founded Commodore Records. With his father's influence, Lord Billy was exposed to the greatest musical talents of the time, such as Billie Holiday, Pee Wee Russell, and Eddie Condon. Despite the tragedy of his father's untimely passing at the age of 54, Lord Billy's upbeat and likable nature kept his family together. He is a modern day example of resilience and creativity, and will be forever remembered for his contributions to the world of music and entertainment.

Billy Crystal, born on March 14, 1948 in Manhattan, New York, is a descendant of Russian, Austrian and Lithuanian emigrants, and the youngest of three sons of Jack and Helen Crystal. With his father in the music business, Billy had the privilege of being exposed to many of the greats of the era, such as Billie Holiday, Pee Wee Russell and Eddie Condon. His daughter Lindsay Crystal, born October 21, 1977 in Los Angeles, is a renowned director and producer, having worked on acclaimed projects such as City Slickers and City Slickers II: The Legend of Curly's Gold. His other daughter Jennifer Crystal Foley, born January 26, 1973 in Los Angeles, is a celebrated actress, best known for her roles in Parental Guidance, Fathers' Day and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. With the esteemed lineage of the Crystal family, it is no surprise that they have left a lasting legacy in the entertainment industry.
