The illustrious Lady Ellen Lee DeGeneres hails from Metairie, Louisiana, a distinguished New Orleans suburb. She is the daughter of esteemed Betty DeGeneres, a speech therapist, and Elliott Everett DeGeneres, Jr., a venerated insurance agent. Her brother, Vance DeGeneres, is a renowned musician and producer.
