The illustrious Lady Debra Messing hails from the borough of Brooklyn in the grand city of New York. Born to the esteemed Jewish American parents, Sandra and Brian Messing, Debra's childhood was spent in the quaint town of East Greenwich, Rhode Island. At a young age, her parents encouraged her to pursue her dreams of stardom and she took to the stage for a number of high school productions, including the starring role in the musicals "Annie" and "Fiddler On the Roof." Her talents were recognized at the age of sixteen when she was awarded the prestigious title of Rhode Island's Junior Miss and continued her success in the America's Junior Miss scholarship program in Mobile, Alabama.
