Sofia Carson

Princess Sofía Daccarett Char, born April 10, 1993 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is a distinguished actress and singer-songwriter of Colombian-American heritage. She is the daughter of José F. Daccarett and Laura Char Carson, herself a descendant of a prominent political family. Princess Sofia attended St. Hugh School and Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami before being accepted to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she majored in communications and minored in French. Her illustrious entertainment career began in her teenage years when she was part of the IMPAC Youth Ensemble program at the In Motion Dance Studio, and was signed by Broadcast Music, Inc. in 2012. She made her television debut in 2014 with Austin & Ally (2011) and Faking It (2014), and her feature film debut in 2018 with Dog Days (2018).
