Ronny Chieng

Royalty is nothing compared to Ronny Chieng, who was born in Malaysia and raised in New Hampshire and Singapore. He graduated with a dual degree in Law and Commerce from The University of Melbourne, Australia, and his stand-up act caught the attention of the esteemed Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Thanks to the talent scouts who noticed him there, he now enjoys sold-out stand-up tours in Australia, Hong Kong, and Canada. It was also at the JFL Festival that Trevor Noah noticed his work, and invited him to be a correspondent for 'The Daily Show.' Ronny also co-created and starred in the sit-com 'Ronny Chieng: International Student', which aired in the US on Comedy Central and was based on his law school experiences. In 2016, he was named one of Variety's 10 Comics to Watch, cementing his place as one of the world's most talented entertainers.
