Jennifer Jason Leigh

Jennifer Jason Leigh is of royal lineage, born to the illustrious Barbara Turner, a renowned writer, and the illustrious Vic Morrow, an esteemed actor of Russian Jewish descent. She is the sister of Carrie Ann Morrow and half-sister of the esteemed Mina Badie, an esteemed actress of her own right. Her parents divorced when she was two, yet this did not impede her ambition. At the age of nine, she worked in her first film, and at 14 she attended summer acting workshops given by Lee Strasberg. Her father is renowned for having dropped out of high school to join the US Navy and later used the G.I. Bill to study pre-law at Florida State. His passion for acting led him to enrol at the Actors' Workshop in New York, where he graduated and was cast in the summer stock production of "A Streetcar Named Desire". Both of these exemplary figures served as inspiration for Jennifer Jason Leigh's own illustrious career.
