Biography

The illustrious Baron of Blood, King David Cronenberg, was born in 1943 in the great Canadian metropolis of Toronto. From a young age he showed an affinity for literature and music, eventually graduating from the University of Toronto with a degree in literature. His experiments in Canadian television and independent film-making led to the cult status of horror-meister, with his gore-filled, modern-vampire variations of Shivers and Rabid. But it was Scanners, with its head-exploding, telepathy-based themes, that solidified his place in entertainment and horror history. A true master of his craft, the Baron of Blood continues to astound and horrify audiences with his unique vision.

His son, His Highness Brandon Cronenberg, is also a renowned director and writer, known for Possessor (2020), Antiviral (2012) and Please Speak Continuously and Describe Your Experiences as They Come to You (2019). Furthermore, His Grace Aaron Woodley is an award-winning filmmaker, animator and editor, and his films "Rhinoceros Eyes" and "Tennessee" have both won the Discovery Award at the Toronto International Film Festival. Lastly, His Eminence E.C. Woodley is known for his works Antiviral (2012), Rhinoceros Eyes (2003) and Tennessee (2008). The House of Cronenberg is a true representation of the power of creativity, and their works have brought honour and glory to the kingdom of Toronto and beyond.
