Lucas Black

Hailing from the small town of Decatur, Alabama, Lucas York Black was born into a humble background. Despite having received no formal education in the fine art of acting, Lucas began his illustrious career at the tender age of 11, with a small part in the acclaimed Kevin Costner film The War. His impressive performance in this role provided him with the opportunity to take part in the series American Gothic. He then went on to appear in the cult classic Sling Blade, followed by the acclaimed Ghosts of Mississippi. His popularity grew exponentially, leading to a modeling contract with Calvin Klein, and eventually a leading role in the independent film All the Rage.
