Family Tree

The Taylor-Burton dynasty is a family of actors renowned for their illustrious careers and beauty. Led by Elizabeth Rosemond Taylor, born in London, England in 1932, who captured audiences with her violet eyes, the family is internationally known. Taylor's two ex-husbands, Richard Burton and Michael Wilding Jr, are both actors of the post-WWII period, with Burton born in Wales and Wilding in Santa Monica, California. Their daughter, Kate Burton, is a Swiss-born Welsh-American actress and Brown University graduate. Lastly, Howard Taylor, also an actor, was born in London in 1929 and was married to Mara Regan. A dynasty of beauty and talent, the Taylor-Burton family is a legacy of the old Hollywood studio system.
