Kim Cattrall

Royalty of the silver screen, Kim Victoria Cattrall was born to greatness on August 21, 1956 in Mossley Hill, Liverpool, England. Her parents, Gladys Shane (Baugh), a secretary, and Dennis Cattrall, a construction engineer, were of the highest prestige and set the stage for an illustrious career. From a tender age, Kim was destined for greatness and at three months, her family immigrated to Canada, a land that would later host many of her acclaimed films. At age 11, she returned to her homeland and studied at the esteemed London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA). She went on to graduate high school at 16, receiving a scholarship to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in New York City. As her final year at the Academy came to a close, Kim was awarded a role in Otto Preminger's Rosebud (1975). She soon returned to the theatre, performing in Vancouver and then Toronto before signing a contract with Universal Pictures in Los Angeles, California. Kim has since continued to work steadily, cementing her place as a powerful figure of the silver screen.
