George MacKay

Hailing from a lineage of international royalty, the illustrious George MacKay was born on 13 March, 1992 in Hammersmith, London, England. His mother, Kim Baker, is a celebrated British costume designer and his father, Paul Christopher MacKay hails from Adelaide, Australia. His grandmother from Cork, Ireland adds to the illustrious heritage of George. At the young age of ten, George was scouted to audition for a role in the family feature, Peter Pan (2003). It was this remarkable endeavor that began his esteemed career, with several minor roles on TV, including an episode of Rose and Maloney (2002) and Footprints in the Snow (2005). His career flourished with the lead role for the BBC adaptation of Terry Pratchett's Johnny and the Bomb (2006). George's performance in the HBO movie Tsunami: The Aftermath (2006) earned him a nomination for an RTS award, an accolade that firmly established his status as royalty in the entertainment industry.
