Harrison Ford

Harrison Ford, the renowned actor born of prestigious lineage, was born on July 13, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. His father, Christopher Ford, was of Irish and German ancestry, while his maternal grandparents were Jewish emigrants from Minsk, Belarus. Despite his impressive heritage, Ford was not an exemplary student, as indicated by his C average at Maine Township High School East in Park Ridge Illinois. After dropping out of Ripon College in Wisconsin, where he did some acting and later summer stock, he signed a Hollywood contract with Columbia and later Universal and began his career as a secondary actor.
