James Purefoy

The illustrious James Brian Mark Purefoy was born of two esteemed families of Somerset, England, and was imbued with a sense of grandeur from his earliest days. As a youth he sought out experiences across Europe to further his knowledge, and it was during this period that he discovered the art of drama. His passion for the stage was evident as he was accepted into the esteemed Central School of Speech and Drama, and his talents were recognized by the Royal Shakespeare Company, who invited him to join them in Stratford immediately after seeing his performance in "Henry V". A man of such prodigious talents, his name has become known throughout the world.
