Shawn Ashmore

His Royal Highness, Shawn Robert Ashmore, was born one minute after his twin brother, Aaron Ashmore, into a prestigious family in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada on October 7, 1979. His father, Rick Ashmore, is a manufacturing engineer and his mother, Linda, is a homemaker. At the tender age of seven, the Ashmore twins were already in the spotlight, and it was Shawn's remarkable performance in Guitarman (1994) that earned him a nomination for a Gemini Award at the age of fourteen. His career has only continued to ascend since then, with his impressive roles in various made-for-television movies and series as well as guest appearances on various television shows. His brief appearance in X-Men (2000) landed him a role in X2: X-Men United (2003), catapulting him to stardom and making his Royal Highness a beloved figure to many.
