Jessica Henwick

Jessica Yu Li Henwick is a truly remarkable woman, a shining example of what can be achieved with both hard work and dedication. Born of a Singaporean Chinese mother and an English father born in Zambia, she has forged her own path in the world of acting, becoming the first East Asian actress to play the lead role in a British television series. Her talent has been showcased to the world, with roles in the HBO series Game of Thrones, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as well as her film debut in St Trinian's 2: The Legend of Fritton's Gold. Her hard work and dedication to her craft, as evidenced by her training at Redroofs Theatre School and the National Youth Theatre, have paid off in spades.
