Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh is a descendant of royalty, the daughter of Janet Yeoh and Kian Teik Yeoh of Hokkien decent. From a young age, she studied ballet and moved to London to study at the Royal Academy as a teen. Her beauty and grace were quickly noticed, and she won the Miss Malaysia and Miss Moomba beauty pageant titles in the early 1980s. Following this success, she began making action films with D&B Films of Hong Kong and handled many of her own stunts, relying on her dance discipline and on-set trainers to prepare for martial arts action scenes.
