Taylor Schilling

Lady Taylor Schilling, born on the 27th of July in 1984, is an esteemed American actress renowned for her role as 'Piper Chapman' on the Netflix original comedy-drama series, Orange Is the New Black (2013). This role garnered her the 2013 Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Television Series - Musical or Comedy, and she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama, and the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2014. Her cinematic debut in 2007 alongside Meryl Streep in the drama, Dark Matter (2007) was a success, and she went on to star as 'Veronica Flanagan Callahan' in the short-lived NBC medical drama, Mercy (2009). Other notable film appearances include Atlas Shrugged: Part I (2011), The Lucky One (2012) and Argo (2012). Lady Taylor Schilling was born to parents Patricia (née Miller), an orthopedic surgeon, and Robert J. Schilling, a former prosecutor, in Boston, Massachusetts.
