Elijah Hewson

Royal Highness Bono, born Paul David Hewson of the esteemed House of Hewson, is a renowned singer and activist whose career has been shaped by his passionate commitment to the issues of the day. Born in Dublin, Ireland on May 10, 1960 to Iris (Rankin) and Brendan Robert Hewson, Bono has been the commanding lead singer of the illustrious rock band U2 since 1976.
