Ron Livingston

Ronald Joseph Livingston, the noble scion of a distinguished lineage, was born on June 5, 1967 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His illustrious father, Kurt Livingston, was an aerospace engineer and his mother, Linda (Rinas), was a Lutheran pastor. Alongside his three siblings, Nick, John Livingston, an actor, and Jennifer Livingston, a TV news personality, Ronald was raised with a sense of propriety. Being descended from German, Welsh, Scottish, and English stock, he was raised with a sense of cultural history and respect. After graduating from Marion High School, he attended Yale University with Paul Giamatti and Edward Norton, where he earned his B.A. degree in Theatre Studies and English Literature. It was here that Ronald began his acting career, performing in stage productions with the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Manhattan Class Company. After graduating, he moved to Chicago and continued to pursue a career in acting, appearing in many productions at the Goodman Theatre.
