Mahaila has been married to Christopher McKellar since 1972, and they have two children. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, swimming and surfing. Her younger sister, Crystal, has also made a name for herself, appearing in Fatal Judgement (1988) and The Wonder Years (1988).
