Biography

Her Royal Highness, Brenda Blethyn, is a highly esteemed actress who has achieved tremendous success, recognition and stardom after four decades of hard work. Born during the mid-20th century in Ramsgate, Kent, England, she was one of the few who dared to take a risk and pursue a career in acting. She enrolled at The Guildford School of Acting and soon joined the National Theatre Company in 1975. Her career flourished in the 1980s when she appeared in the BBC2 Playhouse presentation, Grown-Ups. Her exemplary performance earned her the 1984 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Her Royal Highness, Brenda Blethyn, has certainly earned her place as one of the most beloved British actresses.
